Cute Animal Thread

We had a large rabbit named Oreo growing up that one of my mom’s students rescued and brought to school and begged my mom to take because their family’s apartment didn’t allow pets. We wanted her to be a house rabbit, but she was afraid of our tiny Yorkie, even though she weighed at least 5x as much as the dog. She kept hiding under the furniture and seemed terrified so we ended up having to keep her outside in a hutch/kennel thing on our patio. But it was nice to be able to go outside and have a rabbit to talk to and watch her jump around the yard. She didn’t seem to like being held in your arms or to sit on your lap but she liked to be petted, haha. And so concludes my story of Oreo the rabbit.

I’ve not tried to pick him up, but Clancey loves being petted and will crawl right in your lap if you get down on the floor with him.

Took this while out on this mornings walk. Was about to hit the photo button when the little fella put this curious look on. When I looked to see what he was looking at I realised a grouse had wandered up right beside me, easy as you like to see what was going on... And about 5 seconds after this it got a full on chase for its troubles
