As someone who buys most of my vinyl Mailorder I get really tired of this kind of customer service. There are many great on line sources of vinyl. And then there are far to many retailers and direct to consumer distributers that pack vinyl poorly and refuse to stand behind the sale when damage does occur. Nice covers and display boxes are a major part of the value to vinyl collecting. I would never walk into a retail store and pay full price for a damaged item.I ordered the recent Bone Thugs Harmony RSD release from PoS, sleeve was all jacked up. Huge corner bend and seam splits. See pics for evidence. Reached out to CS, who basically said, “not our problem”, wouldn’t offer any type of compensation whatsoever, not even for me to send it back.
