Black Diamond Heavies - Every Damn Time

View attachment 59756

Black Diamond Bay is a Dylan song
This album has songs called Poor Brown Sugar and White Bitch. Bitch and Let it Rock were the B Side songs to The Stones’ Brown Sugar (Let it Rock was written by Chuck Berry).

I can’t recall you ever solving a guess thread but you deliver your guesses with assured confidence that always convinces me.

Ive not had time to read all thread so can’t even make a poor guess at the moment.

.....But as I’m on an isolated chilled uk Cornish holiday I will guess

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 1
Now the links to @Yer Ol' Uncle D and Bob Dylan et al should become clear and obvious as the thread progresses.

My initial thoughts based on the clues (a unique voice with story-telling, early influence of black artists, and having worked with Keith Richards several times) is Tom Waits' Bad As Me, which is a dark horse pick... and I don't know if this counts as "artist's page" or what not, butttttt:

Just leaving that there for anyone interested, it's a great album.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I considered this for my guess as well...such a great album.

If I could find a place to buy his records straight from his estate, I'd now convince you that it was Rory Gallagher.

Blues musician, Rory played plenty of Chuck Berry and Dylan numbers live.
Keith made a mistake and hired Ron Wood instead of Rory Gallagher to replace Mick Taylor. He recorded a song called Seven Days on Defender.
Baba O'Riley sounds Irish!

I'd go with Photo-Finish because it's hyphenated.
