i feel like ryan smith has a specific... sound to his mastering... maybe im just so used to it by the fact that he masters almost every VMP reissue... then again i probably couldn't tell the difference between him and a kevin gray and a bernie grundman

I don’t think my ears really can tell the nuances of a lot of things but I do find that when I listen to a record and the sound really impresses me, I’ll make a point to look at who remastered it. 9/10 times it’s done by KG.

It's such a turn off for me to include a bunch of CDs/DVDs with a vinyl. They're nice to have but I rarely use them. These boxes would have been perfect to me if they included the 12" singles and it all fit in the box. It's a missed opportunity to press all these singles simultaneously and not make it possible to store in the box set. I understand it would be more expensive, but I'm ok with that. The books look fantastic though. Anyone know how Movement sounds?

Such a turn off! Same reason I didn’t get the Movement box even though I want it. At least that box is a reasonable price now but I still won’t listen to the CDs more than a handful of times or watch the DVD. I just want the reissued album and singles on vinyl! Anyone know if the albums will eventually be broken out of the boxes?
