Pre-Order Thread

Just got an email that my RT preorder was canceled. They said it was listed in error and there would be another version of this album released later this year.
Hmm I didn’t get a cancellation yet. Weird that BullMoose just listed it as well...there are also rumors of a 3xLP deluxe version coming out.

They pulled the listing too because it wasn’t officially announced yet. Which is super weird, because for a July release they’re way past the window. I wonder if it didn’t get delayed.

for my 10th wedding anniversary I sold my copies of The Social Network and Wildflowers (made roughly $500 total) to help take my wife away to wine country for a couple nights. Always stung losing both those albums, now to hear talk of both being reissued makes me very happy!!

2LP 180g vinyl 16 page book pack.

Then Play On is the third studio album by British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 September 1969. It was the first of their original albums to feature Danny Kirwan and the last with Peter Green. The album, appearing after the group's sudden success in the pop charts, offered a broader stylistic range than the classic blues of the group's first two albums. The album went on to reach #6 in the UK, subsequently becoming the band's fourth Top 20 hit in a row, as well as their third album to reach the Top 10. The title is taken from the opening line of William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night — "If music be the food of love, play on".

Expanded edition featuring original UK tracklist plus four bonus tracks.

Mastered at half speed for dynamic range.

Pressed on 180g audiophile black vinyl.

New sleevenotes by Anthony Bozza, which include a personal foreword by Mick Fleetwood.

RT said there’s a variant coming out in September. I still haven’t gotten a cancellation email though...

For the Social Network reissue, if you go to NIN's discography page and scroll down to Social Network, there's a link to "buy from NIN store" and the URL says 3xLP definitive issue, but the link is dead. The rumor now is that it will be released on NIN's site in August as some sort of exclusive and then we'll get the wider release in September.

If it's anything like With Teeth, when it goes live the vinyl will be ready to ship. No messing about with pre-orders after the fiasco with the first batch of definitive reissues.
