RSD 2020

note that some like curren$y and nas and even gorillaz are just "RSD first" releases.. meaning they will be released to the public later this year

$8 Denzel Curry - Bulls on Parade
$14 Charli XCX - Vroom Vroom (not charli at her best yet but still good)
$21 Billie Eilish - Live at Third Man
my "i must get these and i will pay you to buy these for me" records
$21 My Chemical Romance - Life on the Murder Scene (i dunno like gerards voice isn't really be best on this)
this is almost on there because i love MCR so much but BPID was a better live album and the performance isn't perfect
$19 Brittany Howard - Live At Sound Emporium
$24 Chief Keef - Back From The Dead 2
$22 Team Dresch - Choices, Chances, Changes
these i'll buy at a good deal just to support artists i already support

My only must have is Spacehog. As I most likely won’t get to participate directly this year (last year was a total fluke) I will be looking for someone to grab it for me.

So yeah, how you doin?

I only noticed one ROG release...skid row. Did anyone else see any other ROG albums. The last two years went in blind with theirs and have yet to be disappointed (fan farlow and baby Huey)

My only must haves are the Lou Reed/John Cale record, and possibly Elton John. I am super disappointed that I don’t see Neil Young’s Homegrown on the official RSD list (though it is on Rough Trade’s US site).

Well I am definitely going to need to pair this list down.

Black Keys
Bowie
Bowie
The Feminine Complex
Pinata
Kelly Finnigan
Lee Fields
The Magic Numbers
Minnie Ripperton
SPACEHOG!!!

add Al Green, Robyn, Camille Yarbough, Girls in the Garage vol 8, Wick Records Presents Battle of the Bands Vol. 1, Ted Cassidy - The Lurch,

And that is WAY too much.

Prine is one of my all time favorites but originals of those albums or the more recent represses can’t be that hard to find? The Oh Boy 7 could be in demand but I still see used classic Prine all over Chicago shops.

Maybe I’m way off base here but 2000 seems like plenty

I guess it depends on what you are looking for, Rhino does some quality represses. The most recent reissue for is self-titled debut from 2017 goes for about $80 by itself on discogs. I have almost purchased the most recent reissue of Sweet Revenge for like $25. So $75 for 4 LPs approximately $20 a pop has some value for me anyways

Edit: also I THINK the reissues were all cut by Kevin Gray too.

Some things from the leaked EU list that I hope pop up soon:

Kraftwerk 1&2
Daniel Johnston - The End is Never Really Over
Loleatta Holloway - Cry to Me
Gaston - My Queen
Juliette Greco - Jolie Mome
Lee "Scratch" Perry & The Upsetters - Super Ape Variant
Mew - And the Glass Handed Kites
The Godfather 7"
Ennio Morricone OSTs
Last Tango in Paris OST

That LKJ in Dub is a great album too if you're into reggae. Only on the UK list unfortunately.

Yeah, I would agree that they aren't super hard to find. It look me awhile to find his first album on vinyl. Maybe a year or so of looking for it purposefully. And of course, once I found a copy I happened upon it again like the next three times we were out record shopping haha
