It's a shame she isn't more popular in Belgium. The crowd was kind of tiny (my pics were taken from almost the back). But that didn't spoil the fun at all.

That’s what I thought, too! But you have to remember that it’s supposed to play during a typical Bond intro title sequence with the silhouettes and everything, so this song probably fits.

I don't know... Maybe it's something generational? When I think about a Bond song I imagine an orchestra with a bombastic arrangement full of brass and violins and LOOOONG NOOOOOOTES, like "Golden eye", or "Tomorrow never dies" or "The world is not enough".
This song is ok, but a Bond song? Nah.

I think it actually fits in quite well with the Daniel Craig Bond era. I can almost picture the opening credits just listening to it. It’s more downtempo than some past Bond themes, but the subtle orchestration works well with Eilish’s vocal style.
It sounds as if the Bond producers imposed the formula onto Elish that makes this more Bond than Elish. It sounds like so many other Bond songs and so little of Elish. But i still find her voice achingly beautiful

I very much agree. It is totally a bond theme. I think she and Finneas did a great job with it. I'm not sure bond themes are going to be the hits they used to be. The current music environment is just different than when bond theme songs were THE THING out there.

I think you’re right. Speaking of Bond themes, you ever hear of Supreme Beings of Leisure? Their 03 album “Divine Operating System” is great. They’ve been lumped into trip hop, lounge, electronica genres, but I think their genre is really best described as “Lush Bond Themes”.

Music doesn't sound good to me right now. I haven't been able to sit and listen to a full album in months. I'm quite sure this coincides with events in my life. And I hope I snap out of it. I'll have to get back to you when I do. Because my backlog is enormous.
I am seeing her in June though. I'm psyched for that.
