I’m not gonna quote the post but I will say that even though it’s understandably a frustrating situation, the conflation of character and addiction issues is wildly inappropriate IMO. Addiction is a terrible thing that I’m lucky not to struggle with, but it’s not because I’m a better person than those who do.

I was just coming here to say mine finally moved as well!!

Now my signed TGIF from God Fahim has been sitting at the Ybor Distribution Center (10 minutes down the street) for 12 hours. Lets see if ANYONE happens to get it on the truck this morning..

UPDATE: OUT FOR DELIVERY!!!!

And on this note, I’d like to encourage folks not to publicly shame a struggling member of this forum. We don’t know all sides, and I don’t think we need to know. It’s an unfortunate situation that I hope gets resolved in an amicable way.

I’d also like to remind people that this is a public forum and while some of us have shared our struggles here, it’s always best practice not to use those struggles as a way to attack each other.

I get that you’re upset. And reaching out to let other members know that you don’t think another member should be trusted with money is fine. We do that in the trusted buyers thread so I don’t have a problem with that. But your airing of the addiction issues and the namecalling is a problem. Please stop.
 
this seems like a super shitty situation. I feel for ya @Clint Howard My rule of thumb (which obviously is moot at this point) is if I lend anybody anything money, books, records, etc... is to think of more as a gift than a loan. That way if they never get it back to me I don’t get salty and if they do it’s a nice bonus and maybe next time I am more comfortable lending something again in the future.

that being said... I forgot my wallet anybody wanna buy me a Big Mac.extra value meal. I will soooo get you back next time.😉
