Is anyone else hyped for the upcoming release of Expanse S4? I've been re-binging S3 in anticipation. It remains one the best things on screen. The story is compelling, the acting is solid, and the art is amazing. I just hope hat Amazon spent the appropriate $ to keep it looking as good as the 1st 3 seasons
This is one of my favorite shows of the decade. Is Amazon picking it up? I need to go back and rewatch the series.I loved S1 so much. S2 didn't hold my attention, I'm not sure why. I only got through half of it. I think I was missing Thomas Jane. And the Amos character was too macho for me at the time in my life I was watching it. I'm going to revisit it and binge all the way through. I am actually excited for it. There is just too much TV!!!! AHHHHHH, I can't keep up!!! Lol

If you want to get suuuuper nerdy, here's some science behind it all. I am so in love with how well they did this part of the series. I love the characters; Naomi is my girl. But the scientific accuracy behind it, *chef kiss*

Making It is back and I didn't even realize it till today. They've been airing an episode a night since Monday, with the full season wrapping up next Thursday. For the uninformed...this is the reality competition show with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman as hosts. The Makers are all craft/design people. Basically, it's The Great British Bake Off but with crafts/design. And it's even more gentler and warm-feeling that GBBO. If you want a light watch that makes you feel good, watch this show.
Ditto, we really enjoy it too. Unfortunately it feels like NBC decided to dump the show during the holiday lull. I hope they keep it going. It’s Prozac in reality TV form. What it lacks the sheer Britishness of TGBBO it makes up for in Pohler and Offerman Charm/Chemistry in spades! There hasn't been a lot of promotion for it. We've watched the first episode of this season so far.
I really liked season 1, so I'm glad this is coming back
I have it on the DVR for me and the mini-me to watch. My girl's favorite thing is her hot glue gun. We've also been enjoying the show airing on Nickelodeon where kids compete by making holiday themed crafts.Making It is back and I didn't even realize it till today. Watchmen is superb. Truly inventive television.
Mr. Robot season 4 has been one of the most satisfying payoffs I've ever experienced in tv. So extremely entertaining.
The Mandalorian is junk. McDonald's in tv form.
I'm fine with an adventure of the week format if the show has an overarching conflict, or if there were characters of any substance, but so far (with 2 episodes left this season) it has neither.Interesting thing is someone on twitter compared Mandalorian to Xena or Incredible Hulk, and I think they're onto something. I can't tell if it's a feature or a bug, but in today's more-serialized, grand-story format of television storytelling, it's kinda nice to have a show that is very "show up here this week, have adventure with this week's guest stars, get back on the road." I don't find the Mandalorian to be very interesting as a character, so my enjoyment of each episode depends entirely on the story-of-the-week, but I'm sticking with it.
I was hoping you were gonna say because of all the Lucy Lawless and Lou Ferrigno cameos.someone on twitter compared Mandalorian to Xena or Incredible Hulk
I mean yea, its Star Wars. Doesnt mean it's not a ton of fun.The Mandalorian is junk. McDonald's in tv form.

Bear in mind that this is a property owned by a company that makes children's fare. Light serialization that a seven year old can follow is a tall order. Sure, it's a little shallow for those of us who have grown used to the golden age of TV, but it's got high production values, cool characters, fun action set pieces, and a little bit of mystery to keep you coming back for more. Want intricate plotting? Feel free to revisit Phantom Menace's trade negotiations, Jedi Council deliberations, and Senate intrigue.I mean yea, its Star Wars. Doesnt mean it's not a ton of fun.
Even before Star Wars was owned by Disney it was already children's fareBear in mind that this is a property owned by a company that makes children's fare.
