Ohio

Would a 70/30 Hip-Hop to other vinyl head do well there?
I spent 2hrs there and maybe only scratched 15% of his collection, he's got a lot of international records and a bunch of some obscure stuff I have never came across before. I did not see much hip hop but there was some. He's a pretty chill dude, I talked to him about what I was looking for and he kinda led me in the right direction. I'm sure if you stop in and tell him what you are searching for he can lead you to it. Just know he is very anti-mainstream, doesn't like RSD and will have more of an underground scene.

Akron area transplant originally from Cincinnati. Missing having Plaid Room in my backyard, but Square Records has met my local record store needs. Having 91.3 WAPS The Summit FM has really helped acclimate me musically to NE Ohio and their membership benefits have more than paid off in terms of introducing me to venues and artists in the area.

I randomly bought a ticket to Pile a couple weeks ago and didn't realize it was for tonight, I had already made prior obligations so if anyone wants a ticket I can send it to you. It's tonight at Mahall's

Haven't gotten up to Mahall's yet, but I'll already be at Wilbert's tonight seeing Indigenous.

I haven't been nor heard of Wilbert's so I will have to see what that's about sometime! Mahall's is a cool small venue, like the grog shop by way more intimate, saw octopus project thee, nothing.nowhere. and a few others, they get some really cool shows.

I didn't know about Wilbert's either until this band was booked there lol. I think it's just a bar near the arena.

I'll be at Mahall's for White Reaper next month!

For those around the Cleveland Area, Axioma, a local death metal band is having their album release with vinyl for sale at LBM on June 27th.

If you like their sound come out and support some local music or just come out and drink some awesome cocktails.
