Hip Hop

Almost forgot but last week I got an email from fxck rxp saying the pressing plant left a scratch on the b side of Kontraband and he would send replacements if you replied because he wanted people to be 100% satisfied with the product. Supposedly it was on the last third of the second track of side 2 but I didn’t notice a scratch visibly or during playback. It’s possible my old ass eyes just missed it but should I still ask for a replacement disc just in case?

Anybody have any billy woods cds? I'm trying to fix the errors on genius. I have the lyric book for Terror Management and I got a copy of the one from Hiding Places, but I think all of his CDs came with them.

Right? Good sign I am a crazy stan that now I'm considering getting them just for the lyric books. Only problem is they are all OOP before Terror Management.

my wallet wishes I was still a cd guy. I went from like 400 to 30 and I can’t remember the last time I played one. I ripped most of them to my computer in wav or flac. I finally tossed another couple hundred burned cds when I bought a new car with no CD player.

That's some dedication.
I remember copy/pasting all (or at least most of) the lyrics into my iTunes library before there were certain scripts that would handle this (before they stopped working again because of the usual copyright whatever reasons)...

Today I learned that apparently it isn't always great for your wallet looking at OOP woods CDs!

I think the booklets are the only good thing about them, when they exist.

Same here. Before I went to university, I sold my collection of around 1000 CDs - only kept 50 treasures that I couldn't sell for some reason...
I still got most of the lossless audio files on a hard drive somewhere though.

Always loved booklets that included the lyrics - and digipacks. :)

The chalice doesn’t have a lyric book. HWAM does. The SCFB just have some commentary on beats. My Camouflage cd has disappeared. I wish they would press emergency powers.
Oh thanks, Emergency Powers and Cape Verde only have commentary? Do you have the HWAM cd?

I wish they would press those SCFBs and HWAM. I wonder if there are sample issues from back then. There is the Dirtweed 12" but I'd rather the whole thing!
