Everybody, we some inspiration to get us through this. Post whatever you want. Links to something interesting you have found while roaming the internet, lists of movies you’ve watched, what you are reading, projects you’ve finished, and accomplishments small and large.

I’ve been given about a month and a 1/2 off because of this Corona virus. I’ll need stuff to do. So far it’s been gardening, cooking, tai chi, and listening to records. I’ve started drawing and playing my son’s Loog guitar.

Watched Miles Davis The Birth of the Cool on Netflix. Fascinating, Miles warts and all. Well worth your time. Looking forward to second part of The Plot Against America on HBO tonight. Also excellent.

I think the thing that's annoying right now is the fact that it's still cold and we just got 6 inches of snow last night. In a few weeks when it's consistently 60~ degrees I'll be happier. Being cooped up and it being cold makes this whole thing feel like hunkering down for a several week long snow storm. Having windows open, spending slightly more time outside will be nice.

We have had a late winter rain for the past two weeks. On one side I appreciate that because the wildflowers in my garden needed some water and I don’t have to water all the perennials plants I put in. Hand watering 20 or so plants can be time consuming.

But it has kept us inside. In the afternoon it clears up usually. But that’s the time my 4 year old really rails against street safety, making walks less pleasant.

I have been going for runs/walks daily. It's a fun game, watching for people coming my way and crossing the road. Like a frogger situation, except the danger IS ON THE SIDEWALK.

We have seen a lot more people walking in our neighborhood due to all this. They had to close down the hiking areas because everybody was flocking to them on the weekend. It’s funny how a change like this makes everyone appreciate different things than they normally would have.
