Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

The way they handle the "surprise we found these" albums is odd to me.

Why not keep a list of people that ordered it? And even though they were refunded, why not contact and offer them the opportunity to buy these "found" albums before randomly throwing them back up in the store?

But, I guess that would take a system that actually worked. So, I've answered my own question. Thanks for working through that with me, all!

The other day we were watching the Jeopardy championship. When Trebeck said Jennings broke all the Jeopardy records. My five year old daughter looks at me and says I wish he’d come break all your records . Rude

There's no in between with kids. They either totally love records or they're flippant about it. My friend's kid is really annoyed by records for some odd reason. He also calls records dinner plates. He asks his dad why he has to bring out the black dinner plates to listen to music. It's actually hilarious.

On the other other side of the spectrum is my niece. She's a little older now, but when she was a toddler, she was really fascinated with records. Especially the covers. She would stare at them. We used to listen to records together all the time. I trusted her around my records, even as a toddler. She was very gentle with them. Not once did she do any damage. She'd pull them from the rack and just admire the covers. Sometimes she would randomly pull out records and hand them to me to play. Here she is below with A Love Supreme. She likes John Coltrane.

This is really a of sunshine in a threat that was recently dominated by (justified) frustrations and anger.

This post puts the biggest smile on my face! It's the cutest thing ever!!! 🥰😇😊🤗😆

It's too adorable!😭🍄

I'm a little bit sad I missed out on the Herbie Hancock Classics ROTM 🥺🥺🥺

Like, I really wanted it and was really keen to spin it. I really enjoyed what I heard from streaming it. And, beforehand i was only missing John Lee Hooker from the Classics ROTM collection, but now I'll be missing that and Herbie Hancock.......😢

You would think so, after most people on here being so disappointed by the pick......😶

But then again, VMP are sending out multiple copies to customers, so I think there's a good chance it will be gone forever

If it’s not in swaps just post on here and we will figure something out for you Nathan, don’t worry.

Awwwwww thanks! I’ll try as hard as I can to get my hands on a copy, but if not, it would be great to buy a copy or trade someone for something I have brand new/sealed (like Blowout Comb’s Digable Planets (split colour) or De La Soul’s 3 Feet High & Rising). I’m even keen to trade my Still Woozy (sealed) for the Herbie Hancock ROTM!

This might just be my favourite forum post ever. It has everything, cuteness, humor, suspense, horror. Great stuff!

You’ll regret letting VMP consent to eating your butt
The way they are running things they won't even come through with a single touch of my rump.
Well keep in mind they’re a small company, so they will probably need to contract out any butt munching activities to a third party who specializes in that kind of thing.

She’s actually just trolling me, even at 5 she has a wicked sense of humor and gets away with it because she’s super cute and says it with a smile. We actually go on a little trip every Saturday to six flags . It’s about an hour away so we listen to the monthly albums , or guesses on what they may be on the way there and she gives me a thumbs up or down from the back seat.
