I think all there is to get is that they're not the best run company and none of the departments communicate with each other. It probably is happening. Someone fucked up and now they need to scramble to try to cover for whoever let it slip because they're not officially allowed to announce it.

That Michael Kiwanuka is indeed fire. Been loving it. I have all 3 of his albums on vinyl. 2 are signed. Don’t know how that happened

I don't think VMP has actual "departments". I can't imagine their headcount is very high. I'd be surprised if there's more than, like, 20 or so actual employees

I guess ultimately I don't NEED more Fiona than Tidal. That will always be my go to from her discography and I don't spin it all that much as is. If When the Pawn shows up for a price way south of $40 I might consider it, but if this normalizing $40 price tags is the direction they're going to keep going someone else can take my place in line.

Man, I remember the days of 5 years ago when people balked at the price of a MoFi AAA single LP being $30. Guess I'm old now!
