As a Carly Rae Jepsen fan, I had no idea Kiss was just repressed - was a lovely surprise to see in my local record store. Not her best work but honestly deserves a revisit if you're a fan of her later eras.

Got mine today! Cleaned one record perfectly fine, the other didn't spin without manual manipulation every few seconds - ordered some 1mm felt pads :)

Just got an email from FedEx saying that the shipment is delayed due to "local reasons", which is completely understandable. Hopefully won't be much of a delay

Gonna invest in some proper outer sleeves soon - thinking of storing the record outside of the jacket, but am not a fan of resealable sleeves - I presume that having the inner sleeve outside of the jacket with a non-resealable outer sleeve will just result in a dusty record?

I'm intentionally avoiding all surfactant discussion until I get my Humminguru and see the results If I'm satisfied with pure distilled water, that's all that'll matter ;)

Just got the shipping notification! Hopefully my supplementary eBay order of Groovewasher G2 (for pre-cleans for second hand records), a UK plug and a Milty ZeroStat will all arrive before the Humminguru does!

Thank you for that - glad to hear that I don't have to splash out for some extra fluid, my last record cleaning setup often left residue on the stylus and so was worried about how ingrained on the record that would be but if just distilled water works well that's very good to hear.

Wow, talk about good timing - I pre-ordered my Humminguru earlier after thinking "hmm I wonder if they're on pre-order yet", not realising the pre-orders end tomorrow! I had to buy the Type A plug variant as the UK plug one was out of stock, but I'm assuming it's just a multivoltage power brick...
