I was pretty proud of my frugalness by not just subscribing to all of these AS 75 series reissues. Some titles didn’t (still don’t) seem essential. But, the ones I’ve bought have been winners. Maybe should have bit the bullet. 🤔. This one sounds great at 1st listen. I’ve got two OG versions...

This was released last month and only a couple left at Bandcamp (so technically not a preorder). Heavy psych. What is it about Australia? Pressed at Pallas.

1976 US Hollywood Pressing. Both Vol 1 & 2 are a lot of fun to listen to. Also, FWIW they both just got new reissues but early presses can often still be found used at a fair price.

Been watching this one since this AM’s email. Good album. The mock up of the orange smoke is much more gold than the bright cover art orange. 🤔

My wife says sounded like Arlo Guthrie / John Prine vocals when I played her the audio…..But I had the Buckethead / Insane Clown Posse dressed singer in the video to consider. Going to have to find some middle ground.

Another really fun listen. B4 Foghat had the big hits they were a rock/blues band. REO and Foghat played so often around here for a few $$$s a ticket that they were almost local. Great early live version of I Just Want to Make Love to You.

Although the cat pics are making me feel warm and fuzzy, once again I am getting bad vibes from VMP. The QC/startup probs at new plant, big sales to generate fast $$$s, and internal corporate infighting (who really owns this new plant anyway and are they now still going to support it) makes...

Knew nothing about this one b4 it started getting hyped on the internet. Wasn’t that impressed when I 1st streamed it but the vinyl is another story. Mine sounds great. Songs really have punch and there is zero split vinyl noise. A solid keeper all around.

Sounds like u r on top of it. I also leave a little extra space behind the shelves on the exterior walls for airflow. I know of two collections in town (and a couple internet horror stories) that were totally destroyed by basement water. Still if I move it all upstairs a tornado will just...

My music room lives in the walkout basement and I have a battery backed up sump pump system in the floor. Still, I have everything up a bit off floor. So, I’d put some 2x4 or 6 spacers under the boxes (and eventually the shelving) just to be safe. Also, I have my shelves placed as far away...
