Day 5: “I’m Gonna Unmask The Batman” Fred Davis - Cleveland Blues I really dug the song’s bluesy, grimy sound. I don’t really have any blues that’s as grimy or rough as that, but this is a pretty good hidden gem!

got the new Dua Lipa record! It’s a damn good dance-pop album tho not as “psychedelic” as I was expecting/hoping.

Day 2: “The Second Stop Is Jupiter” The Splendids ft. Eamon - “Cry Baby Cry” A really good doo-wop 45 that came out earlier this year!

Day 1: “The Beginning Of” Cochemea - All My Relations The heavy bongos (or whatever percussion instrument it is) on that song reminded me of the more percussive moments on this album. my first time listening to Sun Ra btw

I haven't felt the urge to play any records outside of RSD for the last few weeks (on top of coming down with a bad cold immediately after RSD) so I wasn't able to complete this month. You did a great job hosting tho @LeSamourai and I hope I can be more active in the May thread...

Got a bit more than I was expecting to get… a very successful RSD for me!

hearing them now, they're on par with the standard album imo if not a bit worse.

I've still only heard the album in full once and haven't gotten to the Anthology tracks yet, but the standard version is my least favourite album of hers since Reputation. It goes on a bit too long & there's only one song ("I Can Fix Him") that I've gone back to. I appreciate her introducing me...
