@Godspee You! Baby Emperor Like a normal kids one? I think I tried one in the past that didn't stick too well but it might have been washable or something.

i just use a regular old glue stick. I've used the purple that dries clear and the white. Don't know if it's for kids. I use the toothpick so I can be deliberate in its application

Yes, that tape may be good for seam splits. But what it sounds like you're talking about is not seam splits but just gluing coming undone?

You can use the hinged tape (folded down the middle) to attach the 2 side together. It is better for seam splits, but the glue on the tape is much gentler on the cardboard thank a glue stick, though still very adhesive.
