What's Spinning

I was pretty proud of my frugalness by not just subscribing to all of these AS 75 series reissues. Some titles didn’t (still don’t) seem essential. But, the ones I’ve bought have been winners. Maybe should have bit the bullet. 🤔. This one sounds great at 1st listen. I’ve got two OG versions and the SW remix box. Going to have to do some comparisons sometime.

Pet Shop Boys - Please

This portion of the megastack has been very nostalgic, @TenderLovingKiller® . Not only records I’ve loved since I was a kid, but records that have pretty much always been in the collection no matter format.

The Georgia Satellites - Open All Night

Bonus round, also curated by @TenderLovingKiller® - theme is still dance baby dance, but more adult dancing…

With the exception of Def Leppard (which I had on cassette) all of the vinyl in this section are all from my original collection. In fact, all three appear to have come from cut out bins and I’m willing to bet from the Record Bar in Jacksonville, NC.

Edit - I don’t listen to this band enough, they are pretty fucking great.

Motley Crue - Theatre of Pain

This on the other hand gets played the proper amount, two songs in and I’m wondering why this is the Crue I have on vinyl and if I’ll make it through the whole thing.
