Movies

It's worth considering, honestly. Every entry is at the very least watchable for me. The Caesar trilogy is a modern masterpiece, but the original series doesn't deserve to be slept on either. Beneath is insane and Battle doesn't quite have the budget to fully realize its ideas, but Escape and Conquest are both fantastic. The Tim Burton remake is unfortunately pretty dire, but the Rick Baker make-up effects are legitimately great and Tim Roth & Paul Giamatti are clearly having a lot of fun, so even it isn't completely devoid of entertainment value.
I recently worked my way though all of the Planet Of The Apes films in order and I have to say that I think its an incredible set of films. I especially like the latest trilogy as it really seems to flesh out bits that the original series missed or simply didnt have the technology to fully realise.

Looking forward to watching the new film soon!

Have a couple very cool film-related things to share. Here's the first:

Back in 2017 I had this film professor who was talking about a socially conscious vampire movie he was writing and really wanted to make. Well, he kept at it, and with the help of Kentucky's filmmaker subsidies he was finally able to get it made last year. One of my best friends worked as an executive producer on it. Shockingly, they got word a few weeks ago that it was one of I think 6 movies selected to play Frontierres selection for prospective buyers at FUCKING CANNES. CANNES So as we speak, my friend and professor are up in France ready to sell their movie. The possibilities are endless. I'm so fucking stoked for them. You can follow the movie here
