Definitive Audiophile pressings

I think I'm turning into that guy who used to buy all the VMP's but with the Rhino High Fidelities. That being said, the release schedule for this is more manageable.
It's really a great series since we don't have much to choose from in the quality rock reissue category.
Hopefully it brings out more labels to compete.

Picking up both the Sabbath and the Devo.

For the Sabbath I have an original green label which sounds fine, and a 2010 Ron McMaster/Rainbo Rhino release that doesn't sound all that great. I'm sure KPG will do a good job with it.

The Devo I have an original pressing and the somewhat recent Start Your Ear Off Right Rhino reissue that sounds fine, but nothing special, as was with most Ian Sefchick cuts. Not bad, not great.

I don't really like buying these again, but I look at it that I won't have to buy them again after this.

A quick aside. I picked up the first Tragically Hip LP this week. Anyway, sounds fantastic. It's the Canadian issue but has the MOV markings in the deadwax and I'm pretty sure pressed at Record Industry. A really good pick-up if you see it. I got mine for CDN$29 which is great nowadays over here.

The Cowboy Junkies’ Trinity Sessions CDN pressing is like that, and from same year I think. The CDN pressing is identical to the MOV pressing but without the MOV logo anywhere. The CDN was labelled as “indie exclusive” or something.
